What we do
MyCRC provides one thing: a name-based Canadian criminal record check. Your name and date of birth are searched against the RCMP national database, and your report is ready in your account as a PDF, in as little as 15 minutes. You verify your identity with your phone, sign your consent online, and send the finished report to whoever asked for it.
Who we are
MyCRC is run by MyCRC Solutions Inc., based in Victoria, British Columbia. Our checks are built on Certn background check technology. On average, 100+ checks completed every day.
Why it exists
Getting a criminal record check used to mean appointments, driving, parking and waiting days for your results. For most people the check is the last step before a new job, a contract or a volunteer role, so the wait costs real money. MyCRC turns that into a few minutes on your phone, for one price: $68.23, tax included.
What we’re not
MyCRC is a private Canadian company, not a government agency. Checks are processed through accredited Canadian police detachments and searched against the RCMP’s national database. We don’t provide Vulnerable Sector Checks; see the FAQ for what our check covers.
